The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with the Government of Osun State to utilize part of the Oshogbo Industrial Development Centre (IDC) for the provision of infrastructure and institutional support to Micro and Small medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.
The Director General of SMEDAN, Alhaji Bature Umar Masari and the Governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola signed the MoU at the Government House Oshogbo.Add a comment
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga has charged management of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to reposition the Agency to perform its critical role in the economic transformation of the nation. Alhaji Bature Umar Masari, the Director General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has harped on the need to build vibrant young entrepreneurs who can brave the stormy business environment through hard work, vision, drive and innovative ideas that will stand the test of time.
Masari stated this in Abuja at the inauguration of Network of African Student Entrepreneurs (NASE) and the University Entrepreneurship Development Programme (UNEDEP).
The programme which is an initiative of both the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment and Federal Ministry of Education would be implemented by SMEDAN and the National Universities Commission (NUC).Add a comment
